This site is owned by a local hiker that I met on Uncanoonuc a few weeks back.  It gathers trail condition reports from some of the bigger hiking sites in New England and NY.

Thanks for plug!  I need to add your trip reports forum to the TrailsNH.com mapped trails conditions index.

For those who haven't tried it...  TrailsNH.com tries to simply your search for info for your next hike. Trail conditions are merged onto a map with links back to the original site/forum. Zooming in on the map reveals additional details like forest road status and forest service alerts. Click on any map marker for more info.

Additional base layer maps are available (at different zoom levels) like the National Weather Service Snow Depth Estimate Map, Northeast Radar Loops, and MyTOPO trail maps.  I took off the USGS TOPO map because it was too slow. If you know of other helpful map layers let me know, I can add them.

Trail conditions for the last ~30 days are mapped from many sites/forums. WMNF Forest Road Status and Alerts are pulled and mapped daily. Road Status is shown as Red (for closed) and Green (open) triangles, Alerts as Black triangles.

There are also round ups of trail conditions by peak for the NH 4000 and ADK 46:

Hope you find it useful.

Hi kim I see you found my link.  Is there a way to get my trip reports on my blog to show up on your site?

I like the site allot, Kim, I am the owner of BCA and if you are interested at any point at doing some sort of joint effort at some sort of information coordination let me know.
