I'm lusting after that house...

Oddly enough finals week is giving me more time to photograph and work on my already taken shots and my website than any time else during the year.

Thanks guys!

theoretical plan for the road trip home starting in the middle of the week after next

Hits Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, Wall Drug Store, Minneapolis/Mall of Americas, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cedar Point, Niagara Falls from Canada, and Scranton PA for some Office landmarks.

Anybody have any suggestions for things we're missing?

haha thats funny that your going to go see The Office.  Cedar Point is awesome, its the only amusment park to make me motion sick ever, and thats saying something cause I used to be a commercial fisherman.
I see your going through Chicago, Its definitely worth spending some time checking out the city.  Its a really cool city.

I meant to ask about that...any tips? It's a huge city and I despise just idly wandering around with no plan...

Idly wandering around with no plan is my favorite way to experience travel.  I try to avoid touristy stuff and taste the true local flavors.  This probably isnt on most peoples attraction list but my favorite spot in the chicago is ohio street beach.
The great lakes are so cool.  I still havent got a chance to surf on fresh water.  I was up in canada once near port huron and watched a guy for a bit that was surfing 3ft waves in water that looked like chocolate milk,  I was so jealous.

So as not to get too jealous of your "some weekend in may" trip planning I'm making a little solo journey up to the skiing we have left here.

Dude you are going to be a mere hour or so drive from Chateau La Jerz!! Stop in from some Jersey fresh corn, BBQ, mountain biking or hiking. Outside of that Scranton is just another town in Penciltuckey.
