This is Wasatch Wildflower Weekend at Alta.  The parking lot is full, lift lines are long and the [hiking] trails are crowded as hikers visit the basins at the ski area to view the wildflower bloom at its seasonal peak.

I've been up there before for that.  Its really pretty.  But my favorite alpine flower show is when all the lupines are in bloom in Teton pass.

Even Teddy Roosevelt was impressed by the Tetons.

(Just a little bit more city and that would probably be our retirement instead of the Wasatch.)
