Holiday Monday at Park City:

The parking lots were crowded, lifts were packed with people and the trails were in terrible shape from lack of snow.  Many trails were showing grass and rock -- trails with a Northerly exposure were icy.  Everything above timberline was iffy.  The bowls were exposed rock and frozen moguls; the slopes off of Pine Cone Ridge were either officially closed or not skiable due to bare swatches.  Many times I saw family groups carrying their skis as they walked down the edges of Green rated trails.

Open slopes with other than a Northern exposure had massive amounts of bareness.

I didn't see any evidence of recent snow making except maybe around the main base.

In all honesty, Park City should just close everything until at least some small parts of the area become reasonably skiable, consistent with their ratings.
